Mary Lunceford, EA, LTC #5202, ABA

Mary was born in Portland, Oregon in a rural part of town. Her home was surrounded by farming and racehorse facilities. Mary graduated from Madison High School and went to Portland Community College. She is married with 5 children, 4 boys and 1 girl. Mary is blessed to have 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. These are the best times of her life!

Mary started her working career at Kaiser Hospital, but soon discovered that accounting held a certain appeal. She began working for a small family-owned business in Portland. Before Mary started Combined Business Services, she was lucky to work for the kindest and wisest employer she had ever worked for. He is still one of the most influential and important people Mary has ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Mary became an Enrolled Agent in June of 1992 and a Licensed Tax Consultant in September of 1992. She immediately enrolled in a three year program for Representation and Practice before the Internal Revenue Service. At the end of the third year she became a “Fellow” of the National Tax Practice Institute. This sealed her career, as representing taxpayers was where her true passion was discovered. There is no greater reward than to meet with a client and allow them to remove the fear and anxiety they carry because of a tax issue.

We believe there is always a solution. We also believe it is our work and our pleasure to find that solution for each client we come in contact with. The true relationship we build with our clients is what keeps her loving her life’s work. Mary’s goal in this is to make the company visible enough for a client to find us when there is a tax issue. Combined Business Services really can help make the difference, that is why we come to work everyday!

Dani Tice, LTC #27717C, ABA

Dani was born and raised in Hood River, Oregon, during a time when fruit and lumber were the backbone of the town. Dani graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a bachelor degree in Health and Recreation. Due to her experience helping her father with bookkeeping for his business while she was growing up, she was able to find an office job in Portland after graduation. Dani met her husband at her first job and moved to Molalla to make her home. They were married in 1983 and were blessed with a son in 1986.

Throughout the years, Dani and her husband have been involved with her community through youth and school sports and the local rodeo association. Her son is now married and on his own in Molalla too. Dani worked 13 years for a printing company in Wilsonville, Oregon and worked her way from accounting assistant to assistant to the controller before leaving for a local job in Molalla. She worked for a local mill before joining the team at Combined Business Services in the fall of 2000. She started doing accounting and payroll only. After her first year, she got her license to prepare taxes. Now, she supervises accounting and payroll, and prepares both personal and business taxes.

The best part of her job is helping clients with whatever their needs might be. There is nothing like getting a hug from someone just because you took the time to read a document and help them fill it out completely and correctly to plan for the current tax year. Those hugs are why we continue to improve ourselves and the services we offer.

Dani’s goal is to make sure the bank statement reconciles to the penny! Accuracy is a top priority with her and all the staff at Combined Business Services.
